Yeast infection is quite common nowadays, especially with women. Studies show that every woman in this planet will experience this disease at least twice in their lifetime. So, what is causing this disease? It is caused by the yeast-like fungus known as Candida Albicans. This fungus is not an invader but is actually part of a vast number of microorganisms in our body that helps with our digestion and also helps keep the natural balance with other microorganism. The infection only begins when there is an abnormal growth of the said fungus in our body. There are so many factors involved. Some of them are beyond our control.
